Which apps and fitness trackers work with Lost Tides?

The Lost Tides iOS and Android app syncs steps from a wide range of fitness trackers and apps via Apple HealthKit (iOS) and Google Fit (Android), and both the iOS and Android apps sync from Fitbit devices via the Fitbit app.

To sync your step data:

Apple HealthKit, including Apple Watch (iOS only)
To sync your activity from Apple Healthkit (and Apple Watch):

1) In Lost Tides, navigate to SETTINGS > ACCOUNT, and tap PAIR FITNESS TRACKER.
2) Toggle the “Healthkit/Apple Watch” switch to ON.
3) Grant the requested permissions for STEPS.

In order to sync your activity from Apple HealthKit, two sets of permissions must be granted in the Apple Health app:

1) Your steps/exercise tracking app(s) must have permission to write STEPS to Apple HealthKit.
2) Lost Tides must have permission to read STEPS from Apple HealthKit.

Google Fit (Android only)
NOTE: You will need the Username and Password for your Google Account to connect to Google Fit.

1) In Lost Tides, navigate to SETTINGS > ACCOUNT, and tap PAIR FITNESS TRACKER.
2) Set the Google Fit toggle to ON
3) Follow the on-screen prompts to log into your Google account and grant access to your step/activity data
4) You are connected! Be sure to sync your activity from Google Fit often.

Note that once you’ve synced it may take up to 30 minutes for steps and activity to reach the Lost Tides app from Google Fit.

Fitbit (iOS and Android)
NOTE: You will need the Username and Password for your Fitbit Account to connect your device.

1) In Lost Tides, navigate to SETTINGS > ACCOUNT, and tap PAIR FITNESS TRACKER.
2) Tap FITBIT
3) Enter your Username and Password for Fitbit and select Log In
4) You are connected! Be sure to sync your device by turning Bluetooth “ON” and opening up the Fitbit App.

Note that once you’ve synced it may take up to 30 seconds for steps and activity to reach the the Lost Tides app.
